This weekend the work crew continued the prep work on holes 8 and 15. On 8 we cleared 4 more feet on the left part of the fairway for about 100 feet before the basket. We also clear 10 more feet behind the basket area and may move the basket back another 10 feet. We cleared lots of stumps and loose stick on both 8 and 15.

 8 people came out for the mini, 4 played open and 4 played amateur. Chuck won open with 11 over, and Chris won amateur with 17 over. All winnings were donated back to the course with some other donations to give us $92 in funds raised this week. The ace pot will be $58 next week.

IMPORTANT. The Texas Army Trail DGC will be close on Saturday and Sunday Memorial weekend (5/28/11 and 5/29/11). But never fear, the mini will still occur on Monday (5/30/11) at 4 p.m. Join us early at 3 p.m. for barbecue for only $5/donation/plate.
